Put Your Faith in Action for Creation with MIP&L!
When you join MIP&L and the nearly 200 Massachusetts congregations that have pledged to put their faith into action to protect creation, your congregation gets a number of benefits:
- Access to our experts: Our experience working with faith helps ensure you get the greatest savings for your investment
- Speakers bureau: Members of our executive committee are available to preach or conduct educational sessions for your congregations
- Financial planning and incentive information: We can help you find and apply for rebates and incentives that, in some cases, pay for as much as 75% of an energy upgrade
But MIP&L is more than a membership organization. We are a community that supports each other in our common concern to protect Creation. Congregations who join us not only provide valued financial support but become part of the growing national religious environmental movement.
Joining this movement involves a modest financial pledge, scaled to your congregation's budget as well as pledging to take a series of actions over time in your congregation's environmental stewardship journey.

Declaration of Intent
We are eager to become better stewards of the earth and to support the work of Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light. We will work toward a coherent program of responsible stewardship of natural resources, for our congregation's facilities, in our congregants' homes and in our community.
Our financial pledge:
$50 for operating budget up to $150,000
$150 for operating budget $150,000 to $350,000
$250 for operating budget over $350,000
We Pledge To:
___ Reduce and offset our greenhouse gas emissions
___ Conduct an energy audit of our building(s)
___ Buy clean electricity or adopt a renewable energy technology like solar or geothermal
___ Educate each other on faith, conservation, energy efficiency & renewable energy
___ Support public policies to fight climate change
